The local area offers a multitude of outdoor activities:

Places to visit: Some typical villages: Loubressac, Carennac, Autoire and its waterfalls.
Sports: rambling, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, canoeing, potholing (Le Causse, near Gramat is famous for its chasms, Padirac and Lacave), the site of Rocamadour, and also horseriding.

If you like animals why not go to Gramat animal park (40 hectares) and, coming soon, its botanic garden, see a demonstration by the Gendarmerie dog handlers (3:30p.m. on Thursdays in July and August), eagles and monkeys at Rocamadour.
